Centerpieces

Here are some of the ideas I liked while browsing through photos online. I knew I wanted some with candles and some with flowers. I had thought over and over about doing a pumpkin arrangement, but knowing I wouldn't have much help to carve at least 30 real or fake pumpkins and because I still wanted candles.. I eventually stumbled upon what I think will be my centerpieces!

One of my first mock-ups!

I purchased the wrought iron pumpkins from a fellow knottie. They were such a good deal and had many of the elements I was looking for (pumpkin, candle--enclosed, and some type of berries.. though I wasn't sure I was going to like the beads). I also plan to use these fake acorns I purchased and pinecones, which I plan to collect, spray with a gold glitter,and seal them. I am looking to add leaves as well; the ones in the picture are real and just for demo purposes. I am in search of good fake leaves to use in the colors I want. Lastly, the orange linen was a steal from Walmart--4 for $1 as they are clearing out fall items as we speak! They have a nice design with embroidered leaves. I plan to use them to line some baskets I purchased as well. The only thing I have to do yet is find a nice candle color to go with everything.. and of course iron my linens! : )

Here is a photo of the other centerpiece I am looking to do. Mind you, the color of the flowers is not the one I will be using. As of now, I am hoping to get a pumpkin-colored mum in 4-5" pots to drop in my tin. I am in search of one and hope to get a feel for how it looks soon. If this doesn't work, I may go to my aunt who used to be a florist to help me design an arrangement with real or fake flowers, depending on what's most cost effect and what looks the best! I believe I am using some of the fake leaves I have purchased to get a feel how that may look too.
